Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Design and build responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and custom code as needed.
• Customization: Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements, ensuring functionality and aesthetics.
• Content Management: Upload and format content (text, images, videos) in an organized and visually appealing manner using WordPress’s content management system.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal website performance, including speed, mobile responsiveness, and security best practices.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to website performance, plugin conflicts, or updates.
• Client Collaboration: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and gather feedback throughout the development process.
• Maintenance & Updates: Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins to keep websites secure and up-to-date.
• Integration: Implement third-party integrations, such as e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, CRM systems, and marketing tools.
• SEO & Analytics: Implement on-page SEO best practices and integrate tracking tools like Google Analytics to monitor website traffic and performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience (X+ years) building WordPress websites, including experience with custom themes and plugins.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with WooCommerce and other e-commerce plugins.
• Knowledge of MySQL database management and FTP.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Tools: Proficiency in website management tools, including cPanel, version control (Git), and web hosting environments.
• Design Skills: Strong design sensibility and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or other design tools.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a focus on quality and accuracy in all work.
